Swiss–Victorion

I came upon this today, Swiss-inspired architecture. Apparently it wasn't very popular during the Victorian period, but the style may have influenced the Craftsman cottages of the early 1900's. From the mid to late 1800's house plan books featured designs in the Swiss style.


They remind me of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
